La Rose de l’Isle is ideally located in the White Perigord in the West of the Dordogne region. Our nearest town, Neuvic is only 2.5 Km away and has restaurants, shops, post and medical services. To get to us could not be easier:

By Road:
La rose is a mere 10Km away from the new East-West Highway, the N89 (A89/E70). This road connects Bordeaux in the West with Clermont Ferrand in the East.

From Calais take the A1 Paris road from the ferry and proceed to the Paris ring road. Once on the ring road follow signs for Bordeux and Nantes until you see the signs for the A10 to Orleans. Take the A10 to Orleans. From Orleans continue on the A10 until you reach Vierzon. From Vierzon you need to take the A20 to Limoges. From Limoges continue down the A20 towards Brive turning onto the N89 towards Bordeaux.. Once past Perigueux you are nearly with us. Continue along the highway for about 23Km (15 miles) until you see signs for St Astier and Neuvic sur Isle. Take the off ramp and continue towards Neuvic following the signs for ‘’centre Ville’’. As you approach the centre of Neuvic you will come to a crossroads in the town centre by the church; turn left here and continue for about a mile to the T junction at Neuvic Gare (Railway Station), turn left here and then take the second right. This is signposted Riberac, St Astier and St Vincent de Connezac. As you turn you will see the first sign for La Rose. Proceed about for about 30 metres to a stop sign and then onto the main road towards Riberac.

After about 650 metres you will see the main sign for La Rose on the right hand side directing you to turn left into Jaumarie. La Rose de l’Isle is 150 metres away up the hill and on the left hand side. Your holiday has begun.

Bordeaux Airport to La Rose
Coming from Bordeaux is very easy. As you come out of the airport they must follow the Paris signs and then signs for Libourne and Périgueux, this will get you to the A89 and it is plain sailing from there to euvic. The toll starts at Libourne and ends at Neuvic which is junction 13.1 basically when you hit the toll it is time to leave the motorway. Directions from Neuvic to us can be found on our web site. The roads should not be busy and if they are they will only be busy as far as the start of the A89. The toll will be about 6.00 Euros.

Bergerac Airport to La Rose
From the airport follow the signs for Bergerac (centre). At the second roundabout turn right and go over the river and straight on over the next roundabout (at the end of the bridge). You will then pick up signs for the town of Mussidan which will involve a left turn at traffic lights and then a journey through the back streets of Bergerac. Don’t worry about that as the signage is very good, Mussidan is about a twenty minute drive from here. As you come into Mussidan you come to a T junction, turn right here and carry straight on crossing the river Isle. After a couple of miles you come to a double roundabout in a village called St Front de Pradeaux. Turn right at the second roundabout following the signs for Neuvic. You are now about 4 miles from us. Cross over the railway twice until you come to Neuvic Gare ( Neuvic Station) At the station turn left following the signs for Ribérac. After 650 Metres you will see a bus stop on the RHS and a sign for La Rose directing you to turn left into Jaumarie. We are 150 Metres up that hill on the left.
